TEMPE, Ariz. -- Senior defenseman Brinson Pasichnuk became the first player in program history to record 100 points Friday night, netting his fifth goal of the season in the Sun Devils' 5-0 victory over Alaska Anchorage. The victory matches the program's win total (21) from a season ago with three games to play.
Not to be overshadowed, senior forward Brett Gruber netted his first career two-goal night, freshman d-man Jack Judson put together his first collegiate three-point performance, and sophomore goaltender Evan DeBrouwer backstopped his second-straight shutout to round out the night's accomplishments for No. 10 ASU (21-9-3).
"Our guys played well, I think we will have to be better tomorrow because that team is going to be better just like every team is on Saturday night after they get beat," said head coach Greg Powers. "We have to send these guys out on a high note and tonight was a good start."

- Before the first period ended, sophomore forward PJ Marrocco wristed home his 12th of the season.
- In the second, it was all senior forward Brett Gruber as he came out of the corner with the puck before punching it 5-hole for the 3-0 lead. It made for his sixth-straight game with a point.
- On the third power play of the night, Gruber got his second of the night and sixth of the season to make it 4-0 Devils. Judson assisted for his third of the night.
- With less than eight minutes to play, senior d-man Brinson Pasichnuk fired a blast from the top of the slot that beat Carlson thru traffic for Brinson's 100th career point in the maroon and gold.
