Men's Tennis Takes Road Trip to MidwestMen's Tennis Takes Road Trip to Midwest
TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil men's tennis is back out on the road this weekend, taking on No. 2 Ohio State and Michigan State on Friday and Sunday, respectively. The bout between the Sun Devils and Buckeyes is the third matchup between the two teams in the last three seasons.

ASU takes the court after a dominating victory over Northern Arizona last time out, taking a 6-1 victory over the Lumberjacks. Andrea Bolla, Tim Ruehl, Christian Lerby, George Stoupe and Tom LeBlanc all took home singles victories with LeBlanc's representing his first collegiate singles win.

The Sun Devils are looking to turn the tide against OSU, as the scales have been tipped in favor of the Buckeyes in their last two matchups. No. 2 Ohio State took a 6-1 win in Columbus last season, while the Sun Devils fell 4-2 in 2018.

Ohio State is 8-0 in 2020 so far, including big wins over then-No. 1 Texas. The upset bumped the Buckeyes up from their previous spot of No. 4 in the ranking released this morning.

The matchup between the Sun Devils and Spartans is the first between the two in program history. MSU is 3-3 overall on the season with wins over Toledo, Ball State and Niagara. They have also suffered losses against Middle Tennessee, Penn and Cornell.

Action between the Buckeyes and Sun Devils is set for Friday at 4 p.m. MST while the match against Michigan State on Sunday is set to begin on 10 a.m. MST. Fans can keep up with the action all season long by following @SunDevilMTennis on Twitter.
