TEMPE – Before the Sun Devil women's tennis team opens its spring season on Jan. 19, a quartet of women will make their way to the west coast to compete in the National Collegiate Tennis Classic in Rancho Mirage, California.
The prestigious tournament will feature four Sun Devils as California native Cali Jankowski, Tereza Kolarova, Sasa Klanecek and two-time All-American Lauryn John-Baptiste make the trip to the desert oasis.
Jankowski and Kolarova will be paired as a doubles tandem for the event and John-Baptiste and Klanecek will join the singles bracket.
The tournament will feature women from a handful of top-25 programs, including Pac-12 rival UCLA, Virginia, Wake Forest Baylor and defending NCAA champion Stanford.
Action is set to begin Jan. 10 and run throughout the weekend until the championship rounds on Jan. 12.
