TEMPE, Ariz. – Coming back to her home state, Arizona State volleyball has added transfer sophomore setter Shannon Shields to the 2020 roster, joining the team this month.
Shields, a Phoenix native, is coming to Arizona State from Louisville where she played in 64 sets during her freshman campaign. She will join setters junior Noa Miller and freshman Ella Snyder.
"Shannon is going to be a great addition to our program," Arizona State head coach Sanja Tomasevic said. "She is one of those good local kids that got away, so we are happy to have her back home. She is one of the nicest kids off the court but a fierce competitor and a true winner on the court. We can't wait to get in the gym with her this spring."
