The Fall opener will feature sophomore Samantha Alicea, and seniors Sammi Hampton, Savannah Slaysman and two-time All-American Ilze Hattingh.
Although the Devils will be without the No. 2 doubles duo in the nation with half of the John-Baptiste/Hattingh duo sitting out this weekend, ASU will field one doubles pairing that finished the year ranked in Alicea/Hampton.
The three-day tournament will allow the Sun Devils to play one singles match and one doubles match on each day, with their first crop of opponents coming from the East Lansing Friday morning. They'll open with singles matches against women from Michigan State and a doubles scuffle with women from host Michigan will follow.
Saturday sees ASU start against women from Notre Dame in singles play and they'll conclude play against tandems from Western Michigan.
The Devils get opponents from Yale in singles on Sunday morning at what will be 6:30 a.m. PT and their time at the Wolverine Invitational will conclude against the hosts in singles play.
Although there will be no team scoring as the matchups are a round-robin fall tournament, Michigan will provide live results for all matches and final results for ASU's competition will be available on thesundevils.com after the event.
