TEMPE, Ariz. – Adding to the many academic awards she has already earned this year, Anne Kuhm from Arizona State gymnastics was named to the Google Cloud Academic All-District 8 Women's At-Large Team, as selected by CoSIDA.
Earlier this year, Kuhm was named the Pac-12 Scholar Athlete of the Year, as well as earning Pac-12 All-Academic Fist Team honors. She is also a 2018 WCGA Scholastic All-American.
The senior had another solid senior season for Arizona State. She helped the Gym Devils finish the year with a winning record (11-10) for the first time since 2014 and advance to NCAA regionals. Her best meet of the year was against Oregon State when she had a season-high 39.325 all-around total. She also won a vault title at Texas Woman's University. In all but two meets, she has been an all-around gymnast for ASU.
Fellow Sun Devils Emma Nordin (swimming), Grant House (swimming) and Anthony Croston (hockey) were also placed on at-large teams.
For the complete list of student-athletes earning at-large honors, see the release from CoSIDA. The Google Cloud Academic All-District teams are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada. Honorees advance to the Google Cloud Academic All-America ballot. First-, second- and third-team (if applicable) Academic All-America honorees will be announced in June.
