TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State beach volleyball will wrap up the regular season this weekend, traveling to Texas to participate in the 2019 Kingsville Beach Bash, April 12-13.
After last weekend, the Sun Devils are 15-12 on the season. They went 2-2 at their final home tournament, including a win over Utah for the second Pac-12 win of the season. ASU also battled No. 7 Cal Poly close, earning wins on courts four and five. Three pairs had 3-1 records over the four matches.
Kate Baldwin and Samantha Plaster lead the Sand Devil in pairs wins this season. They have a 19-7 record this year and a 38-19 record in their careers, which is second all-time at Arizona State in pairs wins. They need four more victories to pass Bianca Arellano and Whitney Follette for the top spot.
