TEMPE, Ariz. – In its 47th year, No. 16 Arizona State's PING/ASU Invitational gets a new home at Papago Golf Course where it will be played for the first time Mar. 29-31.
The 15-team field will play the par-72 course over three days, starting at 8 am on Friday and Saturday and 7:30 am on Sunday (note: Arizona is MST which, this time of year, is equivalent to PDT).
The Sun Devils will host No. 10 Arizona, Colorado, Denver, No. 23 Furman, Georgia, New Mexico, No. 17 Northwestern, No. 22 Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, No. 24 Oregon, No. 4 Stanford, No. 5 UCLA, No. 1 USC, and Washington.
Arizona State last won the tournament with their record-20th title in 2017 behind individual medalist Roberta Liti, who put together the lowest three-round total of her career. Liti marked the 17th individual medalist in the tournament's history for ASU.
That same year, ASU matched the program record for low team 18-hole scores vs. par (273/-15) while they set a new program and tournament record for low team 54-hole scores vs. par (839/-25), bettering the old program record by three strokes (-22).
