The Sun Devils (10-4, 1-3 Pac-12) have won eight of their last nine matches, going 3-1 this last weekend. The 10-4 record is the best start in program history. ASU is already one win away from matching last year's win total.
The Sand Devils will face three top-10 teams this weekend. The lone win over a top-10 team in program history came against No. 6 Arizona back in 2017, a 3-2 victory.
Oluoma Okaro and Ashley Wenz were named the Pac-12 Pair of the Week on Tuesday, the first honor in ASU history. Ever since being paired together nine matches ago against Washington, they have not lost at the No. 1 spot. This past weekend at the Bear Down Beach Tournament, they went 4-0, including a win over rival Arizona's top duo. Three of the four wins were two-set sweeps.
