TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Lacrosse's contest against Columbia scheduled to take place this evening has been re-located off-campus to Notre Dame Preparatory High School in Scottsdale due to field conditions caused by recent weather. The game will take place at Notre Dame's Football Stadium, Bemis Field, and is now scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
Notre Dame Prep is located at 9701 E Bell Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85260. The high school recently installed a synthetic-turf field as part of a new athletic complex that also included upgraded bleachers, added stadium seats and improved lighting. Fans are encouraged to leave early to avoid traffic and prepare for weather, as rain is in the forecast throughout the valley in the afternoon and evening. As is true for every Sun Devil Lacrosse home game this season, admission is free.
Arizona State is scheduled to return to Sun Devil Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium for Sunday's matchup with Stetson on Sunday, February 24 at 11 a.m. A reminder that Sun Devil Lacrosse invites members of the Junior Sun Devil club to join us in helping greet the Sun Devils as they come out onto the field by forming a pre-game spirit tunnel before Sunday's contest. In addition, the Sun Devil Lacrosse coaching staff and student-athletes will be hosting a post-game clinic following Sunday's game. The clinic is open to anyone from K-8th grade and will start roughly around 1:30 p.m. More information on the clinic can be found here.
There will be plenty of opportunities to see Sun Devil Lacrosse in action throughout the season. If you can't make it out to a game at Sun Devil Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium, or miss one of our four games on Pac-12 Network, you can still keep up to date with the latest information and updates along all season by following our Instagram/Twitter (@SunDevilWLax) as well as liking our Facebook.
