TEMPE, Ariz. -- Junior outfielder Kindra Hackbarth has earned Pac-12 Player of the Week honors following a five game stretch that saw the Oakdale, Calif., native go nine-for-17 at the plate with a team-leading 11 RBI.
In last weekend's Littlewood Classic, Hackbarth was a hitting machine, tallying a multi-hit outing in all but one game on the weekend. The lefty started the Classic with a bang, going two-for-four with two RBI against Illinois State, before posting a two-for-three outing against fourth-ranked Florida on Friday.
Following an uncharacteristically quite day at the plate on Saturday, the Junior exploded for a five-hit, seven RBI day in a doubleheader sweep on Saturday.
The honor is Hackbarth's first Pac-12 Weekly honor, and first Player of the Week nod for the Sun Devils in 2019.
ASU will be back in action this weekend at the 2019 Marry Nutter Collegiate Classic in Cathedral City, California. Fans can follow all of the action from the weekend road-trip by following @ASUSoftball on Twitter.
