GREENSBORO, N.C. – Sun Devil Swimming and Diving put on a strong showing at their respective invitationals, with swimming picking up seven wins at the NC State GAC Invitational and Selim placing second in three meter at the Texas Diving Invitational.

Selim started off his bid in Austin strong in his first event of the weekend, taking third place in the preliminary round of the three meter with a score of 386.15. He followed later this evening with an even higher score, breaking the 400-mark for the first time this season at 424.95 for second place.

Swimming's men's relay squad started off the finals session again on a high note, taking first place at 1:24.66 for a B Cut and the fifth-fastest time in Arizona State history. Zach Poti, Elijah Warren, Cody Bybee and Evan Carlson combined for the swim.

Ben Olszewski put up an individual win of his own in the 400 IM, as the senior touched the wall at 3:49.47 for a top-10 in school history time as well. The win is the first on the weekend for Olszewski after he finished the preliminary round in fourth earlier this morning. He shaved almost five seconds off his preliminary time en route to his win.

Sophomore Cody Bybee followed in Olszewski's footsteps in the very next event, popping off for a time of 45.99 in the 100 fly to mark his first victory of the weekend. The mark was a personal best for Bybee and it also missed breaking Andrew Porter's school record by just fourth-tenths of a second.

Cierra Runge kept the winning going for the Sun Devils, taking first in the 200 free at 1:44.57. Erica Laning and Emma Nordin joined her in the A Final, with the women placing fourth and seventh, respectively. The victory is Runge's second of the Invitational after her win in the 500 free yesterday.

Freshman Jack Dolan made it four-straight victories for the men on the evening when he took first place in the 200 free with a time of 1:34.65. He was joined by Carter Swift (third), Liam Bresette (fourth) and Andrew Gray (fifth) in the A Final.

With five of the first nine events belonging to the Sun Devils, Poti won his first individual event of the weekend in the 100 back.

Finishing the night with a bang, the women raced to a time of 7:01.31 to take first, securing the third-best time in Arizona State history in the process. The winning foursome was compromised of Runge, Laning, Kendall Dawson and Nordin.
