GREENSBORO, N.C. // AUSTIN, Texas – Sun Devil swimming and diving are set to part ways this week, with diving heading to the 2019 Texas Diving Invitational and swimming headed to the Mid-Season Invite hosted by NC State. Both respective invitationals will begin this Thursday and conclude on Saturday.

Host NC State, Duke, Auburn and Wisconsin will join the Sun Devils in Greensboro at the Mid-Season Invite held at the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The meet will have a preliminary-final format, with the finals running five heats for the 50 free, four heats for all 100/200 events, three heats for all 400/500 events while relays will be contested timed finals during the finals session.

Competition each day starts with the preliminary round at 7:30 a.m. MST, with finals beginning at 3:30 p.m. MST. Live scoring will be available on Meet Mobile and online.

While swimming heads to North Carolina, Mark Bradshaw's diving squad will be competing in Austin, Texas at the Texas Diving Invitational. The squad competed there last season as well, with Selim fighting into the finals in one-meter and platform, the two events he would later win Pac-12 Championships in. Frida Kaellgren also performed well in Austin last year, taking fourth in the one-meter final.

The Invitational will also feature a preliminary-finals format with the men competing on one meter on Thursday with the women on three meter. The genders will flip events on Friday, and Saturday brings the first opportunity for the Sun Devils to compete in the platform event. Action on Thursday and Friday will begin at 11:20 a.m. MST, with platform kicking off at 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

Live results for the invitational can be found on Dive Meets, while the event will also be available on the Longhorn Network with a paid subscription.
