PHOENIX - Sun Devil Baseball has released its 2020 Schedule, as announced by the Pac-12 Conference office and head coach Tracy Smith.
The upcoming season will feature a slew of opponents that appeared in the 2019 NCAA Baseball Tournament, including three-game home series against Nebraska, Fresno State and Cal in addition to one-game tilts at Phoenix Municipal Stadium against 2019 College World Series runner-up Michigan and NCAA tournament qualifier and Big 12 champion Oklahoma State.
The 2020 slate features 35 home games, with the first 12 games of the season all scheduled to take place at Phoenix Municipal Stadium and 19 of the first 21 games of the campaign featured in the comforts of the team's own backyard.
The schedule also includes a pair of significant road trips, with back-to-back Pac-12 road series in March against 2018 NCAA Champion Oregon State and perennial power Stanford.
This will be followed by a nine-game road stretch in April that features a series against the 2019 No. 1 overall seed UCLA as well as the annual series against in-state rival Arizona. The Sun Devils will close the season out with 9 of the final 12 games played at home.
All dates for the upcoming Sun Devil Baseball season are subject to change based on weather and field conditions, as well as the potential for a weekend series to slide a day forward or backward based on television selections.
