TEMPE, Ariz. – With new lineups and pairs gaining valuable experience, Arizona State beach volleyball wrapped up the weekend at Grand Canyon on Sunday morning, playing three exhibition matches against Arizona, Pepperdine and GCU.
The Sand Devils went to Phoenix in the morning to play the same three teams they hosted on Saturday at the PERA Club. Continuing the trend, Arizona State head coach Brad Keenan and his staff tried different lineups to give the newcomers experience and to try out new pairs. ASU lost their first two matchups with Arizona and Pepperdine. The match with Grand Canyon was cut short.
On Saturday, November 2, Arizona State is driving down to Tucson for another exhibition tournament.
