TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State volleyball added another strong transfer to the 2019 roster with the signing of Noa Miller, who will be a sophomore in the upcoming season.
"She is someone who flew under the radar at first," Arizona State head coach Sanja Tomasevic said. "She is competitive, quick and understands the game really well. As a setter, she runs the offense the way we want to. She is the one who is in charge. I'm excited for her to join us this summer."
Miller is the second transfer signed to the 2019 squad and the eighth newcomer. She is the lone setter signed, joining the three setters on the current roster.
The 5-10 Georgia native joins ASU from Wofford where she had a strong freshman campaign. She was second on the team in assists with 481. She also collected 194 digs, 16 aces and 31 kills. Against Chattanooga, she earned a career-high 31 assists and five kills. In the match against Samford, she notched a career-best 13 digs.
Before beginning her collegiate career, Miller was a member of the USA Select Team from 2013-15. She was named the AAU MVP and an All-American in 2013, 2015 and 2016. Her club team, Volley One Academy, won the national championship in 2016, with Miller earning MVP honors.
Miller is the youngest of three siblings. Her parents are Mike and George Miller. Mike played professional baseball with the Atlanta Braves from 1978-86 and George played college volleyball. Both of her sisters also played college volleyball. At Arizona State, Miller plans on studying psychology and criminal justice.
