TEMPE, Ariz. – The Sun Devil women's basketball team will appear on Pac-12 Networks at least 20 times during the 2019-20 campaign as the Pac-12 announced the league's television schedule on Thursday. ASU's 20 appearances are among an unprecedented and record 130+ Pac-12 regular season and postseason games that will be broadcast during the 2019-20 campaign.
 
For the first time ever, all 108 Pac-12 Conference Games will be televised. As has been the case in past years, all 11 Pac-12 Tournament games will be televised (10 on Pac-12 Networks, one on ESPN).
 
In addition to having all 18 of ASU's regular-season Pac-12 games televised, Pac-12 Networks will also be showing ASU's non-conference matchup against New Mexico on Dec. 14 at 2 p.m.
 
Notes on Sun Devil WBB's Pac-12 Schedule
  • The Sun Devils will open league play the last weekend in December when they host Arizona on Dec. 29 at noon.
  • ASU will spend the first weekend of 2020 in the City of Angels for contests at UCLA (Fri., Jan. 3) and USC (Sun., Jan. 5). The Sun Devils will then return for home contests against 2019 NCAA Final Four participant Oregon (Fri., Jan. 10) and Oregon State (Sun., Jan. 12) before going back on the road to face Washington (Fri., Jan. 17) and Washington State (Sun., Jan. 19). 
  • The fourth week of January begins a stretch in which ASU will have rematches four straight weekends: at Arizona (Fri., Jan. 24), vs. USC (Fri., Jan. 31) and UCLA (Sun., Feb. 2), at Oregon State (Fri., Feb. 7) and Oregon (Sun., Feb. 9), and vs. Washington State (Fri., Feb. 14) and Washington (Sun., Feb. 16).
  • The aforementioned game against USC on Fri., Jan. 31 will be the annual Sparky's Kids to College Field Trip Game with a special start time of 11 a.m.
  • ASU will play only one contest this season against Colorado and Utah and the Bay Area schools. The Sun Devils will travel north the penultimate weekend of Pac-12 play to face the Buffaloes (Fri., Feb. 21) and Utes (Sun., Feb. 23) before closing out the regular season with home contests against Cal (Feb. 28) and Stanford (Mar. 1).
Following the regular season, the Sun Devils will travel to Las Vegas for the 19th-annual Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament presented by New York Life (Mar. 5-8). Mandalay Bay Events Center will be home to the tournament in 2020. The first 10 games of the event will be televised on the Conference's network with the champion being crowned on ESPN2. 
 
The Sun Devils finished 15th in the nation in 2018-19, setting school records for consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances (six) and 20-win seasons (six). ASU won a pair of games in the 2019 NCAA Tournament and advanced to the Sweet 16 for the fifth time since 2005. 
 
The 2019-20 team officially started practicing for the upcoming campaign on Tuesday. They will open regular season play the first week of November when they host Air Force (Tues., Nov. 5 at 6 p.m.) and Army West Point (Sun., Nov. 10 at 5 p.m.)

The Sun Devils will host 16 contests at Wells Fargo Arena this season. The home schedule will include seven non-conference games and nine tilts against Pac-12 foes. Included in ASU's nine-game Pac-12 docket are contests against 2019 NCAA Final Four participant Oregon and 2019 NCAA Tournament teams Oregon State, UCLA, Cal and Stanford.
