TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State volleyball will have its first chance to showcase the 2019 squad to the public at the annual Maroon and Gold Scrimmage this Saturday, August 24, at noon in Wells Fargo Arena.

The scrimmage will be free and open to the public. Fans will see the roster split into two teams, the maroon team and the gold team, which will be announced on social media later this week.
With nine returners and nine newcomers, the Sun Devil fans will get a chance to see some old favorites as well as get to know new faces.

During the match, season tickets will be on sale for a discounted price, $10 cheaper than the current price. Additionally, the team will signigng autographs after the match.

After seeing improvement in 2018, the Sun Devils look to take an even bigger leap in 2019. Arizona State finished the season at 14-18, 5-15 Pac-12. Following a tough 2017 season, the Sun Devils improved immensely, earning four more wins in the season total and five more in conference play. This has been the biggest improvement from season to season for an ASU team since 2012 when the nine 2011 wins jumped to 20.
