TEMPE – Junior running back Eno Benjamin received yet another preseason All-American nod, this time being named to the Athlon Sports All-America Third-Team, released by the publication Wednesday morning.
Benjamin will return to the field in 2019 following a historic sophomore campaign that saw the Wylie, Texas native lead the Sun Devil rushing attack. He topped the Pac-12 with a school-record 1,642 rushing yards, carding triple-digit efforts on nine different occasions. Following the season, Eno was Arizona State's lone representative on the All-Conference First Team.
In total, 17 players from the Pac-12 earned a spot on one of the four Preseason All-America teams announced this morning, including four players earning First-Team recognition. Joining Benjamin on the Third-Team offensive team all-purpose player J.J. Taylor (Arizona), wide receiver Laviska Shenault (Colorado) and offensive lineman Nick Harris (Washington).
