Prawdzik appeared in three games for Boston University this past season. During his time at BU, Prawdzik played behind Dallas Stars' first round pick (26th overall) in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, Jake Oettinger. Prawdzik posted a 2.59 goals against average and a .889 save percentage in his three appearances. For the 2016-2017 season, Prawdzik spent the fall semester with BU before finishing the season with the Lone Star Brahmas of the NAHL. He led the Brahmas to the Robertson Cup championship, posting a 1.56 goals-against average and a .924 save percentage in the playoffs after putting up a 2.14 and .908 during the regular season.

"Max comes to us from BU where there just wasn't a ton of opportunity for him playing behind a first round NHL pick," said Powers. "Max is hungry and excited for the opportunity to be a grad transfer here. Anywhere Max has played and been given opportunity, he has won (Prep and NAHL), so we are excited about that and believe he will really help round out our goaltending position."

Justin Robbins - 5'9", 172lbs.
Goaltender ('99) - Alpine, N.J.

"Justin has really rounded out his game this year as the primary starter in Chicago," said Powers. "He is quick, athletic and competes very hard in net. We're really excited about his upside."

The 2018-2019 season was a breakout performance for Carson with the Johnstown Tomahawks, ranking second in all of the NAHL in scoring with 89 in 59 games – just behind fellow incoming Sun Devil Logan Jenuwine with 104 points. His 44 goals also ranked second behind Jenuwine. He was a power-play monster, ranking first in all of the NAHL by over 12 goals with 28 tallies on the man advantage. His 23 power-play assists ranked fourth in the league. In the Robertson Cup playoffs, Briere continued his success with the second-most points at 14 behind five goals and nine assists. At the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament this season, in which 108 total players from the NAHL are spread amongst six teams, Briere suited up for Selects Blue and played 2 games with 2 goals and 11 assists. Briere will redshirt his freshman season, and will not play during the 2019-20 campaign.

"Carson is one of the most natural offensively gifted players we will have ever had," said Powers. "Unfortunately, he is a partial NCAA qualifier so will have to redshirt this season, but we will be able to really work with him in areas of need so he is ready to make an immediate impact in 2020-21. His upside is limitless."
