Sun Devil Wrestling boasts the #2 recruiting class in the nationSun Devil Wrestling boasts the #2 recruiting class in the nation
After a strong 2018-2019 season, Sun Devil Wrestling will be adding a big-time and already well-accomplished group of wrestlers to the team for next year.

"There is no ceiling for this recruiting class," Head Coach Zeke Jones remarked. "They can become as good as a program as they want to become. They have world-class training athletes, coaches and each other.  It's really up to them and how good they want to become."

Ranked nationally, Arizona State has the second-best recruiting in the nation behind No. 1 Ohio State, according to intermatwrestle.com.

Zeke Jones: "The No. 1 recruit in the country. He's already a world champion, he's already the best in the world. I think that Cohlton is coming in with a tremendous amount of accolades, but more about Cohlton being a person that comes in and sets the standard with the work ethic, win at a high level."

Cleveland Belton
•    Two-time CIF state champion
•    2018 Press-Telegram All-area Wrestler of the Year
•    Attended St. John Bosco, Anthony and Zahid Valencia's alma mater
•    Entered 2018-19 as No. 1 132-pounder in the state of California

Zeke Jones: "Cleveland is a person that I think has done well in the St. John Bosco system, the same high school as Zahid and Anthony [Valencia]. Well-coached, tough program. Excited about what he can do here."

Julian Chlebove

•    Three-time Pennsylvania state champion
•    Listed as #5 nationally at his weight class

Zeke Jones: "I think Julian's one of the most complete wrestlers I've ever seen come out of high school, maybe the most complete wrestler. Excellent in all three positions. He's extremely fierce and tough. I think has the ability to do a lot of great things right away."

Trey Munoz
•    #7 ranked in high school rankings for his weight class
•    Orange County boys wrestler of the year
•    Undefeated senior season
•    170-pound champion at the CIF State Championships.

Zeke Jones: "Trey probably has the highest upside of anyone on the team. Just starting to hit his stride nationally, emerging. I think technically he can be very good. I think he is a tremendous student-athlete. Just know he's going to do it in the classroom too."

Zane Coleman
•    #14 nationally in his weight class
•    Four-time Oklahoma state champion
•    The Oklahoman's All-City Wrestler of the Year
•    Went 41-1 in his senior season

Zeke Jones: "Tremendous student-athlete. Great game on top. Probably the best high school wrestler ever sticking on top with a cradle and a leg-riding combination. I think the better he gets on his feet, the sky's the limit for him."

Adam Busiello
•    #4 nationally in his weight class
•    Became just third wrestler to win five New York state titles (alongside fellow Sun Devil Jacori Teemer)
•    Three-time Super 32 champ
•    The only wrestler in the history of New York to be in the state finals six times

•    Mary Comito's of State Farm Athlete of the Week

Rounding out the class for Arizona State are Hunter Balk, Prep State Outstanding Wrestler, and Dominic DiGena.

"This recruiting class is the future of Sun Devil Wrestling," Coach Jones said. "I am excited about what they can accomplish together and what they have already accomplished, very few have ever done. Let alone a group of young men that are so good already. The future is really, really bright for them."
