TORONTO – Sun Devil triathlete Hannah Henry is one of six Canadian triathletes to earn a nomination to compete at the Lima 2019 Pan American Games, Triathlon Canada and the Canadian Olympic Committee announced Wednesday.

The Pan American Games qualification is the first of Henry's career, and the selection is based off her performances at multiple events this spring. The Victoria-native was a driving force at the 2017 Canada Summer games and will look to continue her dominance in July.

Henry also represented Canada at the 2018 Sarasota-Bradenton CAMTRI Triathlon Mixed Relay American Championships in October 2018.

On the college scene, Henry polished off her second-consecutive individual national championship at the USAT Collegiate National Championship right at home in Tempe in November 2018. For her efforts, Henry was named a CTCA Division I All-American after also earning CTCA DI West All-Region Team honors as well.

Lima 2019 is set to run from July 26 to August 11, with the individual triathlon event taking place on July 27 followed by a mixed-relay competition on July 29. Fans can keep up with the action of Sun Devil Triathlon all season-long by following @SunDevilTri on Twitter.
