TEMPE, Ariz. – The success of Arizona State gymnastics' senior class continues as Heather Udowitch has been awarded an NCAA Women's Enhancement Graduate Scholarship, as given by the NCAA Committee on Women's Athletics.

Udowitch, who will graduate in the fall with a degree in marketing, is invited to attend the 2019 NCAA Career in Sports Forum in June at the NCAA headquarters in Indianapolis, Indiana as part of the scholarship. She is one of 200 student-athletes to receive this scholarship, which was based on academics, athletics, an essay and letters of recommendation.

This is the second honor Udowitch has received in the last month. At Sun Devil athletics' stole ceremony earlier this month, she was the female recipient of the Bill Kajikawa Award. The Texas native also was named to the 2019 Pac-12 All-Academic First Team.

In gymnastics, Udowitch was a key member of the lineup. Each season, was a consistent member of the beam lineup, missing just seven meets in her career. She scored a 9.800 or better seven times on beam. Her career high is a 9.875, which came at the 2017 Pac-12 Championships. That is the highest score for Udowitch in any event in her career. She has also been a key addition to the floor lineup for the majority of her time at ASU, scoring a 9.800 or better three times.
