TEMPE, Ariz. -- Arizona State soccer sophomore midfielder Alexia Delgado has again been called up to join the full Mexican Women's National Team for their Summer training season.

Despite Mexico not qualifying for the upcoming Women's World Cup, Delgado will look to gain valuable experience with the team as they take on Canada, New Zealand and The US National Team during their preparations for the event.

In her first season with the Sun Devils, Delgado scored three goals, while helping facilitate the Sun Devil offense through the midfield in 2018.

With her international experience this summer, Delgado will has joined former Sun Devils Amy LePeilbet and Stacey Tullock as the third ASU player to play for their full women's national teams in Sun Devil Soccer history. She also joins fellow sophomore Eva Van Deursen as the second returning player to the ASU midfield with International exposure, as Van Deursen was recently called up to the newly formed Dutch U23 Team.

With a strong showing this summer, Delgado could catapult herself into consideration for the squad moving forward.
