TEMPE, Ariz.-- Senior outfielder Morgan Howe has been named the Pac-12 player of the week, announced by the league office Monday afternoon.

Howe carded seven hits in her ten at-bats this weekend in Palo Alto, helping the Sun Devils pick up a series sweep of Stanford. The Poway, Calif., native started the weekend with a two-for-three showing in the series opener, before going three-for-five with two doubles and a home run in game two. The senior picked up right where she left off in game three,  launching a grand slam and an RBI single in the series finale.

Howe finished the weekend with a .700 batting average, 1.600 slugging percentage and a .750 on-base percentage for the weekend. Her nine RBI this weekend pushed her season total to 51on the season, and 91 as a Sun Devil, leaving her just nine shy of reaching the century mark in her two seasons in the maroon and gold.
