TEMPE, Ariz. – The ITA released its latest edition of its Oracle/ITA Division I Men's Tennis rankings this morning and two tandems and an individual found themselves on the list.

Experiencing a nine-spot jump from the last ranking, the duo of Nathan Ponwith/Dominik Kellovsky found themselves on the list at No. 9. The pair jumped right into the top-10 after upsetting No. 1 Sven Lah/Jimmy Bendeck of Baylor who still sit in the top spot this time around.

The honor makes them the highest-ranking Devils duo since Brian Gyetko/Dave Lomicky in the 1991 season who both went on to professional tennis careers after leaving Arizona State. The pair ended the season ranked No. 4 after reaching the round of 16 together in Athens.

Ponwith again also maintained his status in the singles rankings, checking in at No. 71. The Scottsdale-native has won two of his last four matches including a quick 6-3, 6-3 victory over his opponent from Delaware. Ponwith leads the team in ranked wins with five and also leads the Sun Devils in overall wins with 10.

Rounding out the Sun Devils in the rankings are No. 71 Andrea Bolla/Tim Ruehl. The pair were touted in the very first preseason poll and have maintained their rank ever since, reaching as high as No. 22. Riding a four-match win streak into the weekend, the duo have won six of their last seven matches together as well.

The Sun Devils are back in action Friday to continue conference play against Washington. First serve is set for 5 p.m. MST, and fans can keep up with the action all season long by following @SunDevilMTennis.
