TEMPE, Ariz. – No. 14 Sun Devil Women's Golf will be one of 18 teams to compete in the 2019 Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate Golf Championship in New Orleans Feb. 17-19.
The 54-hole tournament will take place at the 6,239-yard, par-72 English Turn Golf & Country Club in New Orleans. Sunday's first round and Monday's second round will start at 9 am CT/8 am MT while Tuesday's third round will be an hour earlier at 8 am CT/7 am MT.
The No. 14 Sun Devils will be joined by some familiar company including No. 1 USC and No. 18 Washington from the Pac-12. Also competing in the tournament are No. 3 Texas, No. 5 Duke, No. 8 Florida, No. 11 Auburn, No. 16 South Carolina, No. 25 Miami, LSU, Houston, SMU, UC Davis, Michigan State, North Carolina, NC State, Oklahoma State, and host-Tulane.
Tulane plays host to the ninth-annual tournament. ASU last competed in the inaugural year of the tournament in 2010-11 when then-junior Giulia Molinaro tied for fifth-place individually to lead ASU to a seventh-place team finish.
