TEMPE, Ariz. – The Arizona State Lacrosse team lead by head coach Courtney Martinez Connor will challenge themselves once again with a competitive 2019 spring schedule that has been finalized.
In their inaugural season, the Sun Devil Lacrosse program enjoyed success rarely seen by first year programs. The six victories in 2018 were more wins than the other three first-year Division I programs combined.
With a year under their belt, several key players returning, and the addition of a group of talented newcomers, there is a lot to look forward to during the Sun Devil Lacrosse 2019 season. Looking to build off the momentum of their historic first season, coach Courtney Martinez Connor and the Sun Devil Lacrosse coaching staff announce their 2019 spring schedule:
2019 Spring Schedule Breakdown (all times in MST)
There will be plenty of opportunities to see the 2019 Sun Devils as they open up the season with five consecutive home games and host ten games overall, all of which will take place at Sun Devil Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium. "Opening up with five consecutive home games offers an excellent opportunity for our fans and families to come out and support Sun Devil Lacrosse," Coach Martinez Connor said.
In total, Arizona State's 17-game schedule includes 10 Pac-12 Conference games and seven non-conference games. "We made our schedule to present challenging midweek and non-conference games that will compliment a difficult conference schedule," Coach Martinez Connor stated. Four of ASU's matchups against conference foes, as well as the Pac-12 Tournament, will be televised on Pac-12 Networks.
"Being part of the Pac-12, one of the top conferences in the country, is extremely beneficial to our program," Coach Martinez Connor mentioned. "The sport continues to gain popularity and the West Coast has established itself as competitive in the college lacrosse world."

The Sun Devils defeated the Hoses, 23-5, last season in Tempe behind the strength of a six-goal performance by returning sophomore attacker Taylor Carson.
The final non-conference game of the season brings San Diego State to Tempe for a contest taking place on Wednesday, April 17th at 4:00 P.M.
