TEMPE, Ariz. – Sun Devil Wrestling head coach Zeke Jones announces the signing of Bath, Pa. native Julian Chlebove to a National Letter of Intent (NLI). Chlebove will attend school at Arizona State and compete for the Sun Devils starting in 2019-20.
The two-time Pennsylvania state champion bumped up to 132 lbs. in 2017 and is currently listed at No. 8 by FloWrestling and No. 9 by Trackwrestling at his weight class.
Chlebove won a Pennsylvania state championship as a freshman and, when he verbally committed as a sophomore, was ranked 12th in the country at 120-lbs and was the No. 6-ranked sophomore in the nation. He also earned FloNational All-American honors as an eighth grader.
Chlebove joins Arizona State's 2019 class that includes the top pound-for-pound recruit in the nation, heavyweight Cohlton Schultz, as well as Cleveland Belton (No. 12 at 132 lbs.), Trey Munoz (No. 11 at 170 lbs.), Adam Busiello (No. 3 at 126 lbs.), and Zane Coleman (No. 11 at 182 lbs.).
