TEMPE, Ariz. - Riding high after a successful end to a month-long road trip, the Arizona State Sun Devils (13-6-0) kept things rolling on the ice with a come-from-behind 4-2 win over Colorado College (7-8-2).

Both Johnny Walker and Josh Maniscalco contributed two goals in the winning effort, as ASU moved their winning streak to three games. It was the first two-goal comeback victory since the 5-4 overtime victory at New Hampshire on Nov. 12, 2016.

"I give credit to our leadership," said head coach Greg Powers. "There was zero panic from them ... it was almost like a wake up call and it felt like we were just fine."

After a scoreless first, the Sun Devils found themselves trailing the Tigers 2-0 at the halfway point of the second period. It was then that freshman standout defenseman Josh Maniscalco found the back of the net right off the draw for his first of the night to bring ASU back within one.

Johnny Walker scored just minutes later -- moving him back into sole possession of the NCAA goals lead -- to knot things up at two after 40 minutes of play. Walker didn't stop there, however, as the Phoenix-native buried a one-timer midway through the final stanza to give the Devils a 3-2 lead.

Maniscalco added an empty netter to seal the win, giving the Sun Devils their fifth-straight win at Oceanside Ice Arena. It was also Maniscalco's first collegiate two-goal performance.

"He was really good," said Powers of Maniscalco. "He's a freshman that's now played sophomore minutes, and he's not playing like a freshman and he hasn't all year. We are thrilled he is here."

Junior netminder Joey Daccord was once again stellar, stopping 23 of 25 shots, including a breakaway stuff and a sprawling save on a 2-on-1 rush to help secure the win.

"I say it all the time, I think we have one of the best goalies in college hockey and he proved it tonight," said Powers. "He was huge in the first period and made a couple huge saves after not getting a lot of action."

Walker's two goal performance gives him 15 on the season, putting him in sole possession of the top spot in the college ranks by two. He is now two shy of his season total of 17 in 32 games last season.

Senior Anthony Croston finished with a two-assist night as well, putting him at 15 points this season and tying his season-high from a season ago.

The Sun Devils return to the ice Saturday against the Tigers at 7:05 p.m. from Oceanside Ice Arena.
