TEMPE, Ariz. – Head coach Trisha Ford and the Sun Devil softball team signed eight student-athletes to national letters of intent for the 2020 season, announced by the team Tuesday afternoon.

The class; made up of three outfielders, two infielders, two catchers and a pitcher, is ranked No. 18 by Extra Innings Softball, with a pair of top-100 players in the class. Geographically, the class includes three student-athletes from the state of Arizona, a trio from Calif., a Texas native and a Nevada native. 
  Jazmine Hill, Infield
Height: 5-8
Bat/Throw: R/R
High School: Gahr High School (Norwalk, Calif.)

The versatile athlete from Gahr High School played her club ball for the Richardson Team at So Cal Athletics…possess a well-rounded skill set, making her a potential standout at the next level…three-year member of the varsity squad at Gahr High School…built off a terrific sophomore campaign with a equally as productive junior season, hitting .381 with five home runs and 21 RBIs in 27 games…added five steals and a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage…did a little bit of everything during a breakout sophomore season at Gahr High School, batting .482 with seven home runs and 22 RBIs in 26 games…showed an advance approach at the plate which helped her jump onto the national recruiting scene, posting an OPS of 1.391 thanks in most part to an incredible .835 slugging percentage…led her club team in both home runs and RBIs…2017 Spring All-Area First Team selection…she hit the walk off home run in the semi-finals to put Gahr into Torrance National Championship… Flosoftball slotted her at No. 40 in their 2019 Hot 100 Rankings… earned a spot on the 2018 San Gabriel Valley First Team All-League…2018 Michelle Carew Classic All-Tournament Team…2018 Cal-Hi Sports Second Team member…2018 SoCal Sidelines LA Player of the Week…No. 32 national prospect in the Extra Inning Top 100…ranked as the No. 51 overall prospect in the SoCal Sideline Super 100…recipient of the 2017 Coaches Award and 2017 Award of Excellence… chose ASU over Florida Gulf Coast, Boise State, and Utah…committed to the Sun Devils on January of 2017…plans on majoring in Business Communications when she arrives at ASU.
 
Bradianne ("Bre") Glover, Outfield

High School: Bishop Manogue Catholic High School (Reno, Nev.)

A three-year varsity standout for Bishop Manogue…played in 78 games in her career, posting a .436 average (103-for-236) with two home runs and 64 RBIs…features a refined slap game which helps her utilize her speed and quick hands…intelligent and instinctual baserunner, compiling 44 steals and scoring 115 runs during her high school career…gets on base at a prolific rate, walking 41 times in her 236 career plate appearances helping her reach base at a .527 clip…enjoyed her best high school season of her career this past year, batting .429 with 26 RBIs, 45 hits, and 57 runs scored…a catalyst for her team offensively, stealing at least 14 bases in all three of her high school seasons…continues to develop strength by adding to her frame without sacrificing the speed that separates her as a prospect…played her club ball for the 18u Sorcerers-Gabales…getting it done in the classroom as well as outside of it, earning Academic All-State honors…one of two Class of 2019 prospects to the make Flosoftball's Top Performers List at the OnDeck West Coast Elite Camp…recognized by the Reno Gazette Journal as a Northern Nevada Class 4A First Team All-Region honoree after a fantastic junior season…the RGJ also named her to the Northern Division I All-Region First Team after she broke onto the scene with an impact freshman year…helped lead Bishop Manogue a No. 5 finish in the final rankings for the state of Nevada…chose ASU over the University of Arizona, Oregon State, and the University of Nevada…plans on majoring in Business with an emphasis in Marketing or Finance once arriving at ASU.

Local prospect who was highly sought after by some of the most prestigious programs in the country…currently in the midst of one of the most productive high school careers in the history of Arizona High School Softball…recognized by MaxPreps as a 2018 First Team All-American at catcher after a record-setting junior season…a Top-10 overall prospect in the Class of 2019 according to Flosoftball Hot 100…she was a big reason why Hamilton was tabbed the nation's No. 1 team in the preseason by MaxPreps…appeared in 101 games during her three-year varsity career, producing a .452 (131-for-290) batting average with 28 home runs and 117 RBIs…scored 58 runs and has drawn 40 walks in her career…career OPS of 1.362 thanks to a .517 on-base percentage and slugging at an .844 clip…was the most dangerous player in the state at the plate as a junior, putting up numbers which garnered her multiple National Player of the Week honors from Extra Innings Softball…finished the 2018 campaign with a gaudy .547 batting average, launching 16 home runs and driving in 57 runs…showed she is more than just an offensive force, playing flawless defense that resulted in a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage…put together an astronomical slash line of .615/1.132/1.747 (OBP/SLG/OPS)…key piece to the Hamilton High School teams that have earned three consecutive berths in the AIA 6A State Championship, winning two state titles…the Huskies had not reached a State Championship game before she arrived…Hamilton finished the season as the No. 1 ranked team in Arizona according to MaxPreps…received an invitation to try out for the USA Junior Women's National Team for the upcoming 2019 competition season…Selected to play on the So Cal All-Star Team that played against national teams such as Team USA and Team Mexico…earned AIA 6A First Team All-State honors in 2018 after her spectacular junior season… played part of her club career with the Oro Valley SunCats 18u Gold-Judge…set the tone for her club team, leading the squad in home runs, RBIs, and batting average…both of her parents are graduates of Arizona State and her brother is currently in the Barrett Honors College…chose the Sun Devils over offers from several prominent Pac-12 and SEC programs.

A three-year varsity starter at Lovejoy High School… will leave her high school with the most innings ever played…a tough and reliable backstop that has caught 470 Innings over the past three years of High School (178 Freshman, 161 Sophomore, 131 Junior)…has helped lead her squad to the University Interscholastic League 5A Texas High School Softball Playoffs in each of her first 3 years…maintains a career batting average of .460, reaching base at a .503 clip…drove in 65 runs during her high school career…starting catcher for both the Angels Premier Club team and the East Cobb Bullets…part of the East Cobb Bullets 7th Place finish at the 2018 PGF Premier…holds a career .573 batting average in club competition…Dallas News named her to their 2017 & 2018 First Team All-District 15-5A after a impactful last two seasons of high school…2016 Second Team All-District 15-5A as a freshman according to the Dallas News…Three-time NFCA All-American Scholar Athlete and Academic All-District…chose ASU over Notre Dame, the University of Tulsa, and San Jose State…verbally committed to the Sun Devils on December 16, 2016…interested in majoring in Engineering once she arrives at Arizona State.
 
Jordyn VanHook, Outfielder

High School: El Camino Real Charter High School (Woodland Hills, Calif.)

Multi-sport athlete at El Camino Real Charter High School, playing at the varsity level in both volleyball and softball…burst onto the scene as a freshman in 2016, hitting a clutch two-run, walk-off home run in the bottom of the sixth inning to break a 4-4 tie and give El Camino Real a 6-4 win over Kennedy in a City Section Division I softball quarterfinal game…she became the first player to hit a ball over the fence and onto Valley Circle Blvd. during a game since El Camino Real moved home plate next to its outside basketball courts in 2011…El Camino Real would go on to win their next two games and earn the 2016 Los Angeles City Title…selected as the Daily News Girls Athlete of the Week (4/23/18) after totaling for eight hits, four home runs and 11 RBIs…named So Cal Sidelines' Player of the Week (4/25/18) after helping El Camino capture victories over Granada Hills Charter (14-1), Taft (18-0), and Birmingham (6-0) in West Valley League games and an 8-2 win over Notre Dame of Sherman Oaks at the Valley Classic…2018 CalHiSports.com First Team All-State selection thanks to a tremendous junior season…earned a spot on the 2018 Daily News First Team All-West Valley League after landing on the Second Team in 2017…led the city of Los Angeles with 14 homeruns…led her club team, Bownet Peek – Menefee, in almost every offense category including home runs, RBIs, stolen bases, and a .452 batting average…chose ASU over San Jose State and Mississippi Valley State…interested in majoring in Kinesiology once she arrives at Arizona State.
 
Alynah Torres, Infield

High School: Cactus High School (Glendale Ariz.)

A versatile player for Cactus high school, Torres made appearances at shortstop and catcher … earned MaxPreps Freshman player of the year honors following her first season of high school play… four-time All Arizona and West Region Player of the year …. Finished the Gatorade player of the year runner up … never hit below .500 in any of her seasons, recording a season high .617 batting average during her sophomore season … has proven to be an elite hitter, finishing her high school playing career with 95 extra base hits, including 41 home runs … will complete her high school playing career with 194 hits, 178 RBI and 171 runs scored … has maintained a .584 batting average as a varsity player, helping her to a .631 OBP … chose ASU over University of Arizona, Missouri and Oklahoma… chose to come to ASU because of the atmosphere, coaching staff and the ability to play in front of her family … plans to pursue a degree in Health and Wellness while at ASU. 
 
Lindsay Lopez, Pitcher

High School: Poston Butte High School (San Tan Valley, Ariz.)

Two-way varsity standout from Poston Butte High School…three-year starter who is a three-time All-Conference First Team Selection and received both 4A and 5A Division honors after her school moved to a higher Division…the three-time All-Region First Team selection was tabbed as the 2018 Region Offensive Player of the Year as well as the 2016 Region Player of the Year…has helped lead Poston Butte High School to the AIA State Playoffs in all three of her seasons, the first three State Playoff appearances in the school's history…awarded with Team MVP honors the past two seasons and was the Rookie of the Year during her freshman season…named the 2018 PinalCentral Player of the Year, awarded to the best player in Pinal County, by the Casa Grande Dispatch…a career .502 batting average, .583 OBP, and a .852 SLG…blasted 14 home runs and drove in 118 runs…made her presence felt immediately at the high school level, posting a .520 batting average with seven home runs and 54 RBIs in 32 games…has enjoyed a brilliant career on the mound, posting a 35-15 record and a 1.15 ERA…has struck out 488 batters in 329 innings…fanned 194 batters in 127.2 innings while only nine walks during a dominating junior year 194 K with only 9 walks in 127.2 IP…a reason why she selected ASU was to be challenged and the chance to compete in conference and national titles…chose ASU over New Mexico State, the University of Pacific, and BYU.

Three-year member of the varsity team at Santiago High School…offensive player of the year and team captain her final three seasons…a member of the SoCal Sidelines 2018 All-Inland Empire Team after an outstanding junior season…made First Team All-League in her last two seasons…competed for the club OC Batbusters, where she has helped the team qualify for four National Premier Fastpitch Showcase all four years as a starter…her sister, Allexis Bennett, played softball at UCLA (2013-16) and was a First Team All-Pac 12 selection…several factors drew her to ASU including the research college, a family environment, athletic excellence, and the academic standards…chose ASU over UCLA, Oregon, and Washington.
