SAN FRANCISCO – After a stellar season leading Arizona State volleyball, senior Alyse Ford was named to the Pac-12 Honorable Mention list, as voted on by coaches in the conference.

Ford is the lone Sun Devil represented in the Pac-12 honors, her first since also earning an Honorable Mention nod as a freshman at USC. She helped ASU to a solid 2018 season, earning five more Pac-12 wins this year than last season. Three of those wins came against top-15 teams: Oregon, Washington and USC.

Individually, Ford had a strong year. She led the team in kills with 363, averaging 3.70 per set, which also is a team-best. She ended the season on an eight-match double-digit kills streak. She had four matches with 20-plus kills, including a career-high 29 against Colorado that tied for the fourth-most kills in a match in ASU history. After back-to-back matches with 20-plus kills against UCLA and USC, Ford was named the Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week, the lone weekly honor for Arizona State this year and the first offensive weekly nod since 2015.
