Kansas has been to the NCAA Tournament the past 29 seasons and won its 14th straight Big 12 regular season title in 2018. It won the national title in 1952 and in 1988, and then in 2008 under head coach Bill Self.

Arizona State and Kansas have met 10 times. Kansas last played at Arizona State in the season opener on Nov. 23, 1990.
