TEMPE, Ariz.-- Fresh off their 12th trip to the NCAA Women's College World Series in 2018, the Arizona State softball team has announced their schedule for the upcoming 2019 season. 

Action will begin with the annual Kajikawa Classic set for the weekend of February 8-10. Arizona State will kick off the season with a Friday doubleheader featuring games against Western Michigan and Missouri, before hosting Kansas and Weber State Saturday afternoon. The opening weekend will conclude on Sunday, Feb. 10 with a game against CSUN. 

The Sun Devils will remain home the following weekend when the team hosts the Littlewood Classic Feb. 14-17. The second week of the season will kick off with a Thursday meeting with Illinois State, before hosting fellow 2018 WCWS participant Florida on Friday, Feb. 15. ASU will continue their home stand against Central Michigan on Saturday, before ending the classic with a doubleheader against Utah State and San Diego.

Following back-to-back home weekends, the Sun Devils travel to Cathedral City, Calif. to compete in the 2019 Mary Nutter Classic. To open the weekend, ASU will play a Big-12 doubleheader against Oklahoma State and Texas Tech on Feb. 21, before facing Nebraska and Texas A&M on Feb. 22. The Sun Devils end the weekend with games against Bethune Cookman and Cal Poly on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 23 and 24.

After the six-game road stand, ASU returns to Farrington Stadium to host a three-team invitational that pits the Devils against Princeton, Texas and Wisconsin. Action will get underway with a Friday doubleheader against the Tigers and Longhorns, before a Saturday featuring a second meeting against Princeton and ASU's first meeting with the Badgers. The weekend will wrap up with a contest against Texas on Sunday. 

The Sun Devils close out the non-conference portion of their schedule with another home invitational, this time hosting James Madison and Michigan in a Thursday night doubleheader on March 7 before closing the weekend with single games against New Mexico State, Lehigh and South Dakota March 8-10. 

Arizona State opens Pac-12 play starting Mar. 15, hosting the Oregon State Beavers at Farrington Stadium. 

Following the first weekend of Pac-12 play, Lehigh will return to Tempe on Tuesday, Mar. 19, before ASU continues their conference schedule against Utah, Mar. 22-24. 

After playing 17-straight games at home, the Sun Devils will head down south to play Arizona, Mar. 29-31. Following the short road series, ASU will return home to host UCLA Apr. 5-7. 

The Sun Devils will close out the month of April on the road, traveling to Seattle to face the Huskies, Apr. 12-14, before heading to Stanford, Apr. 26-28. 

Arizona State opens the month of May with a home series against Cal May 3-5, before ending the 2019 regular season on the road at Oregon May 9-11.
