"This is a great way to finish our fall season," noted third-year head coach Matt Thurmond.  "We wanted so badly to have a great day...to count four under-par scores today meant a lot to us. Mason has been exceptional all fall.  He's working hard at home, developing a stronger mental game and just seems happy as a person. It shows on the course and now he has three straight top-10 finishes.  I'm excited for him."

Junior Chun An Yu (71-71-70) maintained his spot tied for tenth after shooting four birdies and an impressive eagle shot from 590 yards out, which was the second longest hole on the course. Junior Blake Wagoner (71-76-70) was another standout for the Maroon and Gold, as he moved up to tied for  20th on the leaderboard.

"I'm also really excited about how Blake finished," said Thurmond. "He's had a very solid fall as well. He can be an All-America type player and it's fun to see him getting closer to that every day. We've only had Kevin (Yu) in the lineup twice this fall and that sure makes a difference."
