TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State sophomore running back Eno Benjamin was named the Rose Bowl Game Pac-12 Player of the Week, according to an announcement by the Tournament of Roses on Monday.

Benjamin set school records for most rushing yards in a game (312 yards – eighth all time in Pac-12 annals and most in the NCAA Division I FBS this season) and half (185 yards) and scored four touchdowns (three rushing, one receiving) in ASU's 52-24 win over Oregon State on Saturday. Benjamin had touchdown runs of 44, 47 and 10 yards against the Beavers and also scored on an eight-yard reception. He accumulated a double-digit yard total on 10 of his 30 carries on his way to eclipsing the single-game school record set by Ben Malone, who ran for 250 yards at Oregon State on Oct. 27, 1973. Benjamin, who also caught three passes for 27 yards, combined for 339 all-purpose yards, falling just short of the school record of 350 yards set by J.R. Redmond in 1998.

After Saturday's performance, Benjamin is now sixth in the nation/second in the Pac-12 in rushing yards (595) and 10th in the nation/second in the Pac-12 in yards per game (119.0).
