FRANKLIN, Tenn. – With inclement weather impending for Sunday, the 15-team field attempted to get both the second and third rounds in the books on Saturday but rain forced them off the course halfway through the third round.
After holding strong in second place after the second round, the Sun Devils are now in a strong third place as each Sun Devil has between 6-9 holes left to play.
Olivia Mehaffey remains in the top four, even in round two, while newcomer Sofia Anokhina had ASU's best second round, a 1-under 71. Sophomore Raquel Olmos was just one stroke over par (73) and is currently T20th individually.
The teams hope to restart at 9 am CT/7 am PT on Sunday but fans are encouraged to stay up to date on Golfstat at http://results.golfstat.com//public/leaderboards/gsnav.cfm?pg=team&tid=16221 in case the time is pushed back due to weather. The Sun Devils will continue playing in their foursome with host-Vanderbilt, Clemson, and Auburn.
