TEMPE, Ariz.—Arizona State University and Texas A&M University have scheduled a future home/home series in football, Vice President for University Athletics Ray Anderson announced today.
The games will be played on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Kyle Field in College Station and on Saturday, September 11, 2027 at Sun Devil Stadium/Frank Kush Field in Tempe.
"This agreement with Texas A&M University provides us with another elite future series with a Power 5 opponent," says Anderson. "The last two series that we have scheduled have been versus schools from the SEC (Texas A&M and Mississippi State). This agreement complements our future series' with LSU, Michigan State, Mississippi State, Oklahoma State, and BYU."
This is the first home/home football series ever scheduled between ASU and Texas A&M and also represents the first-ever visit to Tempe by the Aggies. The two schools did meet in a neutral site game in 2015 at NRG Stadium in Houston, Texas.
The series was made possible by the move of the ASU/LSU football game from 2026 to September 7, 2030. ASU and LSU officials worked together, which afforded each school greater flexibility to schedule some key series. ASU was able to add the Texas A&M series and perhaps another series due to the move. The LSU series is now back-to-back in 2029 (Sept. 8 at LSU) and 2030 (Sept. 7 at ASU).
