NORFOLK, Va. – The College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) has announced their Scholar All-America teams, recognizing squads for earning a 3.0 team GPA or higher in the Spring 2018 semester.

This marks the tenth-consecutive semester dating back to Fall 2013 that both Sun Devil squads have earned a place in the team, while the ASU men have achieved upward improvement for the past three seasons.

Earning a 3.35 team GPA to earn the honors this past fall, the squad improved to a 3.42 mark this spring, good for ninth-best in the country among men's teams and the second-highest in the conference.

The Sun Devil men also earned a spotless 100 percent Graduation Success Rate (GSR) as announced by the NCAA in November, a significant improvement going from last to first in the conference in the past three seasons.

The women earned a 3.27 GPA this past semester, including placing 12 females on the 2018 Pac-12 All-Academic team. The mark ranked higher than conference foe Oregon State.

Founded in 1922, the CSCAA is the oldest organization of college coaches in America. The professional organization is dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming and diving at the collegiate level. The organization is releasing their individual Scholar All-Americans next week.

The Sun Devils recently announced their 2018-19 competition schedule, opening the season with their annual Intrasquad meet on Sept. 28. Fans will have four chances to catch the Pool Devils at home, and can view the full men's and women's schedules.
