TEMPE, Ariz. – As announced by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA), Sun Devil women's golf senior Roberta Liti has earned Google Cloud Academic All-District® honors, named to the 10-member All-District team for District 8.
This is Liti's first such honor, however, she has garnered several other conference-level, regional, and national academic awards as a senior and throughout her career.
Liti earned the NCAA's Elite 90 award, given to the student-athlete with the highest GPA at each of the NCAA's 90 national championships. She also was named Pac-12 Women's Golf Scholar-Athlete of the Year for 2017-18.
She is also a three-time Pac-12 First Team All-Academic honoree and has been named a WGCA All-American Scholar the last two seasons, with the award yet to be announced this season.
First Team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the ballot for Academic All-America®, which will be announced in June. The teams are divided into eight geographic regions with District 8 comprised of Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawai'i, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Canada.
Women's golf is part of All-District® honors for At-Large Teams, which includes other sports such as hockey, swimming and diving, tennis, rowing, wrestling, and more.
The CoSIDA Academic All-District® and All-America® programs recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the playing field and in the classroom.
