"Similar to our home schedule, we're excited to play some historic college hockey programs and many for the first time," said head coach Greg Powers. "We were fortunate to play in some unbelievable barns last year, and this year's road schedule takes us to some of the most renowned locations in college hockey."

After back-to-back series at home to start the season, the Sun Devils make their first road trip to their Sun Belt buddies Alabama-Huntsville on Oct. 19-20. It will be ASU's first trip to Huntsville and the back end of a home-and-home.

Sandwiched between the home series with Nebraska-Omaha and Michigan State is a meeting with Penn State for the third-straight season. The last program to join the NCAA ranks has made the NCAA Tournament in each of the last two seasons. It'll be the Sun Devils' second trip to Happy Valley in the last three years.

Following the home match-up with the Spartans, ASU heads into three-straight road trips in four weekends. Two of the three come against Ivy League programs in Harvard on Nov. 16-17 – which is the back half of a home-and-home series after Harvard traveled to Tempe in 2016 – followed by Princeton three weeks later on Dec. 7-8 after a bye week.

Prior to the bye week, ASU heads to Omaha for the second meeting of the season with the Mavericks of UNO on Nov. 23-24. For the first time as an NCAA Division I program, they'll play the same team twice in a season. It will be the third and fourth series between the two programs in four years.

After a month of home games and the return of the Desert Hockey Classic, the Sun Devils trek to the third Ivy League program of the season with a series against Cornell. The first-ever meeting with the Big Red comes just a year after they reached No. 1 in 2017-18 and remained in the top five for the final nine rankings before finishing No. 8 in the final USCHO top-20 poll.

Coach Powers and his 15th-ranked recruiting class will then get their second bye week of the season before hitting the road for two-straight weekends. The first trip is to Boston University on Jan. 25-26 followed by RIT (Rochester Institute of Technology) on Feb. 1-2. This wraps up three trips to the northeast in four weekends.

The Devils play just one other series in the month of February, hosting American International in between their third and fourth bye weeks on Feb. 15-16.

After the final bye week, ASU finishes the 2018-19 season with a first-ever meeting at Minnesota and Mariucci Arena on March 1-2.
