BOULDER, Colo. – The Arizona State lacrosse team (6-10, 1-8 Pac-12) fell to the No. 18 Colorado Buffaloes (9-4, 7-1 Pac-12), 16-3, Sunday afternoon at Kittredge Field.
 
"Our defense played tough and with intensity but we have some work to do at the draw circle as well as on the offensive end," said head coach Courtney Martinez Connor.
 
The Sun Devil goals were courtesy of the freshmen trio of Maria Villanti, Julia Burns and Kylie Kroeger. Carley Adams and Kerri Clayton added assists.

In the cage, goalkeeper Berkeley Bonneau recorded 13 saves including nine in the first half. The sophomore also picked up two ground balls and caused one turnover.
 
Defensively the Sun Devils caused four total Buff turnovers and picked up 14 ground balls.

Up next the Sun Devils have a bye weekend before they host No. 16 USC on Saturday, April 21 at 11 a.m. Admission is free for all lacrosse games at Sun Devil Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium.
