Head coach Bobby Hurley and his staff have signed Serbian center Uros Plavsic as he joins arguably the best recruiting class in school history. Plavsic, a 7-foot-1, 240-pound center that arrived in the United States in October, played at Chattanooga (Tenn.) Hamilton Heights this past season. He averaged 9.6 points and 7.5 rebounds for Hamilton Heights, who he helped lead to a 28-7 record.

Plavsic marks the fourth commitment of Hurley's banner 2018 recruiting class. The Sun Devils have also signed four-star recruits Luguentz DortTaehon Cherry and Elias Valtonen. Plavsic is slotted at No. 102 in the 247Sports Composite and as the No. 12 center in the 2018 player rankings.

"Uros is a very exciting prospect. I think he's got tremendous long-term potential to develop in the program. He's got great size and wingspan, and for a seven-footer he changes ends of the floor extremely well," said Bobby Hurley, who led ASU to a No. 3 ranking this year, matching the best in school history "He fits into our style. He's very skilled around the basket and can step away with some shooting touch and range on the shot. He's an exciting prospect and we look forward to him having a great impact on the future of our front court."
