TEMPE, Ariz. – Arizona State women's golf sophomore Olivia Mehaffey has been selected to the eight-player Great Britain and Ireland Curtis Cup team to compete against the United States on June 8-10 at Quaker Ridge Golf Club in Scarsdale, N.Y.
The 20th ranked player in the Women's World Amateur Golf Rankings helped lead the 2016 Curtis Cup team to victory after going 3-1-1 and was also a key part of Arizona State's nation-leading eighth national championship in 2017.
The Ireland native is the highest-ranked player on the GB&I squad and will also compete as a member of the Palmer Cup international team against the USA in France later this summer.
Mehaffey finished T5th at the Pac-12 Championships and won her first collegiate tournament at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in February. She has eight top-10 finishes in 11 tournaments for the Sun Devils this season heading into NCAA Regionals.
