FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – On day two of the 2018 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships on the campus of Northern Arizona University, three Sun Devils who qualified for NCAA championships on Monday added additional events Tuesday afternoon and evening.
Ashley McCool (4th) and Frida Kaellgren (7th) finished among the top in finals, with Kaellgren improving upon her prelims placement by four spots, to earn a spot in the 3-meter dive at NCAA's.
Later Tuesday evening, Youssef Selim won the 1-meter springboard championship, the same event he won a Pac-12 championship in two weeks ago, qualifying for the event at NCAA's after qualifying in the 3-meter on Monday.
Ashley McCool, Frida Kaellgren, and Youssef Selim are now all qualified for both the 1-meter and 3-meter dive at NCAA Championships based on their placement over the past two days at Zones.
Competition wraps up Wednesday with the men's and women's platform dives and with live results on www.divemeets.com.
