HILTON HEAD, S.C. – Following the second round of play at the 2018 Darius Rucker Intercollegiate, Arizona State sophomore Olivia Mehaffey remains in the top-10 individually, in a six-way tie for eighth.
Senior Roberta Liti shot the Sun Devils' best round of the day, a 1-over 72, improving upon her first-round score by seven strokes.
"We really struggled today with the conditions," said head coach Missy Farr-Kaye. "We started with swirling winds and cold temps and just didn't adapt as well as we normally do. Tomorrow is an opportunity to execute better and finish strong."
Weather conditions plagued the entire 18-team field as no team shot better than a +7 on the day.
In team standings, No. 2 Alabama, No. 13 Northwestern, and No. 3 Arkansas remain the top three teams.
Sunday marks the final day of the tournament, with action beginning at 8 am ET/6 am MT. The Sun Devils will tee off between 9:40-10:20 ET (7:40-8:20 MT) on hole 10 with South Carolina and North Carolina.
