The No. 22 Sun Devil men's golf team sits tied for 19th place at The Goodwin in San Francisco, Calif., after day one at the Stanford hosted course.
The team shot +8 on the par-71, 7,143 yard course. Chun An Yu, fresh off his victory at the Bandon Invitational, led the Devils with three birdies and shot even par on the afternoon.
An Yu is tied for 26th place on the leader board. Freshman Mason Andersen had a solid day on the course. He birded holes 7, 10 and 13 but triple bogeyed hole 6 placing him at one-over 72. Andersen is looking for another quality outing after recording 68s in the final two rounds in his last tournament.

Alex del Rey shot 3-over par with birdies on holes 3 and 17.
Koichiro Ishika, coming off a T-13 finish, turned in a seven-over par 78. Ishika birded holes 4 and 9 on the front nine.
