The Arizona State lacrosse team (5-2) returns home this weekend for the first ever conference lacrosse games in Tempe. The Sun Devils will play host to the Oregon Ducks on Friday at 6 p.m. local time and the No. 15 Colorado Buffalos on Sunday at 11 a.m. Sunday's game is also lacrosse's official #GreenGameASU, showing the team's commitment to sustainable practices. Admission is free for all fans at Sun Devil Soccer/Lacrosse Stadium. Fans unable to attend can watch both games via Pac-12+.

Scouting the Opposition
Oregon: The Ducks are coming off a conference opening-weekend split, picking up a win against Cal while losing to No. 18 Stanford. In the 12-7 win over the Bears, attackers Shannon Williams and Mariah Gatti each netted four goals while Cambi Cukar had four assists. Defensively the Ducks picked up four ground balls and Lexy Biller picked up six of the team's 13 draw controls. In the 19-8 loss to Stanford, the Ducks struggled against a dominant Cardinal offense. Attacker Jill Zubillaga scored four goals for the Ducks while Williams added a goal and two assists. Biller recorded eight of the team's 17 total draw controls.
Colorado: The Buffs picked up both wins over the Bay Area schools in the inaugural Pac-12 weekend, defeating No. 18 Stanford, 18-16, and Cal, 15-5. Against the Cardinal, midfielder Miranda Stinson and attacker Darby Kiernan each scored five goals for the Buffs while Kiernan also recorded three assists. As a team Colorado picked up 21 ground balls and 15 draw controls. In the win over Cal, Kiernan scored six goals, Stinson had four, and Samantha Nemirov posted four off the bench. Defensively they picked up 22 ground balls and 14 draw controls.
Last Time Out
In their Pac-12 opener, the Sun Devils fell to No. 12 USC in Los Angeles, 14-3, for just their second loss this season. The first conference goal in program history came courtesy of freshman Emily Glagolev with an assist from fellow freshman Kylie Kroeger. In the second half, sophomore Carley Adams hit the back of the net down low from junior Kerri Clayton while Clayton also added a free-position goal. On the defensive side, the Sun Devils were able to hold the Trojans to just three goals in the second half. Sophomore goalkeeper Berkeley Bonneau recorded six saves in the second half and 10 total in the game to tie her career high set in the first game against Kennesaw State. The Sun Devils also caused six Trojan turnovers and picked up 16 ground balls. Freshman Maddy Hunter led the team with six draw controls while sophomore Maddy Woodall picked up a career high three.

Athletics provides a unique opportunity to promote sustainability at our University, and Sun Devil Athletics has fully embraced the opportunity to advance sustainable practices as an institution and with our fans.
In June of 2016, USG and NACDA named Arizona State the most sustainable athletics department for its innovative and creative sustainable practices. Basketball's Weatherup Center has the distinction of being named the first athletic practice facility in the nation to become LEED-certified. Wells Fargo Arena became the first installed and operational LED-lit Power Five athletic facility, increasing lighting by 25 percent and reducing energy consumption by 75 percent. Additionally, ASU boasts the most solar panels out of any university in the country to harness the Valley's 300-plus days of sunshine.
