FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. – On the first of three days of the 2018 NCAA Zone E Diving Championships,
the Sun Devils qualified two women's divers and one men's diver for NCAA's over the next two
weeks.

In the women's 1-meter prelims, Frida Kaellgren and Ashley McCool took a fourth and ninth
place finish into the evening's finals and each improved upon their placement in the finals.
Kaellgren finished third while McCool finished seventh to take two of the nine places at NCAA's
from Zone E for the event.

In the men's 3-meter, Youssef Selim took fourth in both the prelims and finals to qualify for one
of seven spots at NCAA's.

Tuesday's schedule is as follows, with the events flip flopping, as the women take on the 3-
meter and the men compete in the 1-meter.

Zone E will have nine spots once again in the 3-meter while the men have only five spots in the
1-meter.
