FEDERAL WAY, Wash. – After three days of competition at the 2018 Women's Swimming & Men's/Women's Diving Championships, No. 22 Arizona State women's swimming/diving remains in third place in team standings and, most importantly, ahead of Arizona, which will determine a Territorial Cup Series® point following Saturday's competition.

Last year's champion, SIlja Kansakoski earned her second straight podium finish in the 100 breast, taking second this year (59.04), after taking the top seed in the prelims. Nora Deleske and Kaya Philapil also had PR's in the prelims to make the B final in the event.

All three Sun Devils made it past prelims to the finals in the 400 IM, led by Marlies Ross with a seventh-place finish and a spot in the A final. In the finals, Ross touched eighth followed by Chloe Isleta in 12th.

In the 100 fly, Fanny Teijonsalo beat her previous fastest time of the season by over a second (53.25) while Katherine Wagner set a new personal record of her own (55.31).
